Sierra Woods Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"What a sweet place and a far cry from cookie-cutter low end motels. Beautiful location, nice rooms, and a very nice restaurant on premises. The motel is a project of a recovery program called Teen Challenge so it's a bonus to support them but the motel stands on its own as a 'find' off Highway 80. Highly recommended"
Flume's End
10/10 Excellent
"Charming atmosphere and hotel. Location is less than 5-minute walk to center of town. Beautiful decor in room and breakfast room. Excellent continental breakfast. Super host."
National Exchange Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience truly memorable. We’re already planning to return next year."
Sierra City Loves Falls Cabin - Walking Distance to Waterfall & PCT
8/10 Good
"The cabin was great. No issues at check in or during our stay. Only things noticed were lots of dog hair on the rug in the living room, the back double doors wouldn't lock, the door upstairs leading to the balcony and down to the driveway wouldn't lock, and the windows occasionally came off their closing-mechanism so you had to close them by hand. Otherwise, it was a nice cabin for the price. Would definitely stay here again."
Best Western Gold Country Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The parking was a bit of a problem because of the number of large vehicles in the lot. Not something they can control now, but it would have been nice if that had been planned for when the motel was built. Otherwise it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and mostly quiet. The shower took a while to warm up, but did get to the lava hot I prefer. I’ll definitely give bonus points for the very soft and new looking towels. Overall we will stay here again."
Northern Queen Inn
8/10 Good
"Great staff. Can't wait to come back when the renovations are completed. Rent the cabins super private."
Harmony Ridge Lodge

"All facilities were super clean. Included breakfast was fantastic (coffee, hashbrowns, sausage, yogurt granola, toast, and eggs made to order by staff). Wifi was weak in unit, but somewhat functional. AC/Heat worked well. Overall spacious and clean. beautiful views of trees. Would come back"
