"It was our 1 year anniversary and wanting to relax out of Dallas Metro area. It was quiet and the birds/squirrels were fun to watch. Owners of the outpost were helpful and a pleasure to visit with. When I messaged the property owners, they responded quick and were nice. However, the cabin we stayed in smelt a bit funky when we got there like mildew. The bathroom floor was gross sticky in front of the toilet and look around we felt we needed to give a good cleaning before we unpacked. Drove back...

"The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the easy lake access, where we were able to leave the boat in the water at their small dock. Just to note, in case you miss the fine print, this is a lodge where half of the rooms front the lake and the other half from the street. You’re still able to use all amenities and the owners were very accommodating and friendly!"
