"This hotel is dated and not worth the price that they charge. Had to have them fix the toilet twice and have them fix the sink because it wasn’t draining. The sink shouldn’t have drainage issues at this price and management should check these things. Wallpaper peeling. I get that it’s a historic hotel but I would stay somewhere else. Old school charm is fine but not at their rates. Time has passed this hotel by."

"As I requested a quiet room due to being a graveyard shift I was told best room on site __ umm NO the room was above the entrance of thenhotel and the road to the parking lot— i had do not disturb and thank the gods the lock up top done because the maid tried to come in anyways!! The bathroom major mold — the breakfast was horrible and not worth the line ! Never again"

"Absolutely love this hotel! It was my 3rd visit and the only place I’ll stay when visiting SF. Feels very safe which is always my number one concern. Everything is clean and staff is excellent. It is at the perfect location, walking distance to tons of bars, restaurants and stores. Can’t wait to be back. Thanks for the terrific hospitality !"

"Family of 7 with little ones here. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and clean and the service was good. I didn't like that we had to pay for parking, $75/night. No breakfast and no microwave in our room. That was inconvenient. Besides that we had great time. The room had comfy beds and the bathroom was stocked."

"Views were not great. Breakfast was a little pricey and it was barely covered by the $50 daily breakfast voucher. We were also surprised by the additional $50 per night room fee. They were kind enough to wave two nights of the fee. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly."
