There was construction outside the hotel which blocked driving in and out of the area, and unfortunately guests were not notified ahead of time. The taxis could not drive up to the front entrance and instead guests had to transport luggage through the park and with heavy or multiple luggage it was very difficult. I would have offered guests better service to manage the luggage and placed signs outside to notify guests where to ask taxis to...

"I was unable to check in on my confirmed date, as this was on a Wednesday when the place is closed. I read the instructions in the booking that travellers must contact the property at least 24 hours before check in - which is 1 pm to 2.30 pm! I tried to contact a number I found on the website (not provided with booking) which reached an answer phone without an option to leave a message nor text.
