"Check in was smooth. We didn't have much other interaction. Although the building is older, the room was updated and very nice. We would definitely stay again. The restaurant next door, (different ownership??) was really great as well. Had Prime Rib of all things and it was very good."

"My wife and I loved our visit to the Gunn House Hotel. We met Harry who is wonderful and very helpful. And he's quite a good chef for morning breakfast. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. We sat outside our room in the evening with our tablets and watched all the cars go by on Washington St. I give an A+ to the staff and Harry for their great hosting. We will be back. "This was the perfect location for our family reunion. It's really hard to find a property that can fit 35-40 people, with enough space so everyone felt comfortable. The property is so well stocked -- so many times rentals won't have the basics or maybe not enough towels or whatever. They have thought of everything here! Fully stocked kitchen, two fridges that were strong enough to keep everything cold, plenty of bath and pool towels, etc. The game barn was a great spot for the kids and teens to spend some time. The living room had good seating, plenty of patio areas in the backyard. Yana and Chase are super nice and were great with communication -- answered questions in a timely manner (even pre-trip) and were available if anything came up at all. Would def recommend for a large group."
