Everything was amazing. Including cleanliness, breakfast, and service as well. The only negative thing is that it does not have a pool besides that amazing hotel.
We left the hotel room door wide open for a WHOLE day and nothing was stolen! great staff.
The only thing was the AC unit was a little noisy, other than that everything was great!
Las habitaciones en planta baja deberían tener vidrio doble ya que al ser vidrio normal los ruidos de la calle se escuchan literalmente en tu habitación
I was there for a night the staff it’s great and the bed were contable and love the food.. only problem was the room wasn’t what I expected and there was a lot of mosquitoes.
The room I stayed had bed bug. Both my son and I got bitten badly. We requested to move to another room and then we were fine. The best thing about this hotel is location and they clean the room well.

This is a Good value option.
I do Recommend. It has a great location, practically right in downtown Tuxpan. Also very nice view on the river side, the greatest spot for an early river walk.
It is an old hotel and the only good thing it has is the location. There is no elevator and the worse, it has around 10 parking spaces. We have a baby and leaving the car 3 blocks away (inside the parking lot the hotel recommends so you don't pay extra) was not practical at all.
Room cleaning was BAD. We left the hotel one day and when we cam back around 3pm, the room was not done. They finally did it but without even cleaning well.
I would never come back to this hotel.
I stayed there to visit family. The hotel is pretty average but it was clean and the people were helpful. I personally like the Crown Plaza better, but I was grateful I was able to find a room very last minute.

Tuxpan visit
I was there to visit some relatives. The hotel was average for Mexico. It was clean the employees were pretty helpful.
Our problems started upon arrival. It was late and they informed me that they didn't have my reservation (on a handwritten pad) and they were sold out. Fortunately my wife had lived in that town before and new the manager. After she mentioned calling him they managed to find us a room. However...there was no parking and parking on the street was the only option for my Jeep Wrangler. Anyway...they found a spot inside the secured area. The room...old, dingy, had a broken bed, and the street noise outrageous!!! Like I said...run!!!
We stay here a couple of times a year when we drive from NY to Chiapas -- it's right on the main drag, across a very busy street from the river. Walks along the river are really nice. The hotel is basic but it feels safe and it's remarkably quiet despite the proximity to the busy street. There is secure parking -- it's really tight but they help you wedge your car in. There's a restaurant on a boat in the river a few blocks away: it gets rave reviews, but we have been very disappointed both times we went there.
