"All of the above plus the view of the sea/beach and the Snapper Cafe loved it & reception very helpful with smiles Thank you for letting us stay we totally enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend if you want quiet & scenery & fishing maybe."

"Beautiful view from the room, along with proximity to the walkway along the beach, cafes, and the village made this a memorable visit."

"Lovely room, comfortable beds, beautiful views. Staff were very helpful and friendly - thank you, Ruby, for your lovely welcome."

"The room was clean and well stocked we needed extra towels and they were happy to provide. The spa bath was great in the bathroom so nice a quiet for others to watch TV in the other room. Room was quite spacious could have done with a 2 setter couch. Overall was a nice place to stay."

"Gym is more like a home gym. Cleaning lady was very rude to my wife, told us we were late checking out by 30 minutes and she wanted to clean the room. Front desk did not have a problem with the check out."

"After having stayed at East Pier many times I was disappointed with the fact in order to view even free to air TV, one needed to know one’s logins and also for other platforms. The enjoyment of coming home after a night out, the part of climbing into bed and switching on the TV is now not an option without logging in. We also had to pay to watch Supercars and the All Blacks. Concerning also, was to see someone’s email address at the login. Privacy issues I would imagine."

"Comfortable bed. Very nice location near the sea."

"We chose this location as part of our 6 day road trip from Welling to Auckland. It is in a pleasant and convenient location and met our needs for an overnight stay."

"Love staying here. 3rd time now. Good value for money and it's s so handy with the bistro which has lovely food. Staff are always give great service too. The only little gripe I have this time, was the aircon had a constant whine all night but other than that still enjoyed our stay. "

"The room was a good size and had everything we needed. The location was also great just across the beach and a short walk to the aquarium. While most of the rooms were occupied, there were enough parking spaces. Only the shower and toilet may need improvement. It wasn’t easy to clean / runce my hair properly with the low pressure shower. The toilet occasionally smelled bad when we hadn’t even used it. Still overall, it was a great stay and would certainly come back."

"Spacious room, close to amenities"

"Very clean and tidy and great setup in the room. View of the beach was amazing and close to town. Staff very welcoming and helpful"

"Love this space for a group of 4. Would totally stay again."

"Really good value for money Right in town on waterfront. Very comfy bed, amazing water pressure in shower."
