Hampton Inn Blue Ridge

"Overall, a pretty solid stay at the Hampton Inn in Blue Ridge! The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 426, which was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom. The beds were fairly comfortable, although I have to say the pillows were absolutely atrocious and could definitely use an upgrade. One thing worth mentioning is that the shower floor was quite slippery when wet, so I ended up placing a towel down for extra traction. As for breakfast, I'm not a big breakfast person, so I kept it simple with some orange juice and a bagel. However, they offered the usual selection of sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and other basics. Nothing particularly impressive, but enough to get your morning started. The fitness center was also nothing to brag about, but it served its purpose. Parking was plentiful, including several spaces designated for electric vehicles and accessible parking. Now, where this hotel really shines is its location! You're literally in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, with restaurants, shops, and local attractions just steps away.Another nice convenience is that each floor has vending and ice machines, making it easy to grab something without having to head down to the lobby. One feature I particularly appreciated was the added security. After hours, guests need their room key to access both the parking area and the hotel."

Off the Hook - Riverfront, hot tub, fire pit, pets

"The house was beautiful. It was renovated and modern. Plenty of parking. It was great to have a fire pit outside but when it rained, we had a covered fireplace which was nice. The view was beautiful and the river water was shallow enough for our littles to enjoy. The river water wasn’t high enough to actually fish, but the kids enjoyed it regardless. The kitchen was fully stocked, but there was issues with gnats in the kitchen. The outside grill was in great condition to grill and the kids really enjoyed the ping-pong table downstairs. The only downfall was the living. space wasn’t as cozy as we hoped and the TV was a bit too small and the AC didn’t get as cold as we hoped. The house was clean and decorated beautifully and the hot tub was a nice feature."

"Very secluded, and peaceful, just what we needed. Accommodations were very nice. There was just 2 in our party, so the place was too big, but we wanted this place for the seclusion, and how nice it appeared, it lived up to expectations!"

"Nice yard for quick and easy toilet breaks for my dogs. Screened in porch for relaxing and listening to the river flow over the rocks Well stocked kitchen and plenty of blankets for cozying up in the living room Appreciate all the extras including a cabinet of games & puzzles. We used Both a/c @ heat but sunny every day. Foggy most mornings and multiple deer."

"We came to Blue Ridge to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a cozier and more relaxing space. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we loved watching football games in the hot tub. The hot tub was also very clean and worked well. We also loved the enclosed front porch for coffee and local cider! Check in and check out was easy and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!"
