"The property and the house itself are wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the customer support from DHD Properties LLC left a lot to be desired.The front door lock is tricky, and when we arrived, we called and texted for help getting into the house. It took an hour and a half to receive a response, which is a long time to be sitting on the front porch waiting to get inside.A few weeks before our stay, I also sent a message asking how to access the Gulf side. That question wasn't answered for more than four days.The home is excellent, but the property management company's communication and responsiveness need significant improvement. They should consider improving their customer support system—whether through better staffing, a different management company, or even AI-assisted support—so guests can get timely assistance when they need it most."

"Location is perfect, interior was clean and had a good layout. Exterior decking and railings need replacement several guest got splinters from decking. Overall a wonderful stay."

"This house had plenty of room, had great bay access. The bay is great for all kids. There is a beach on the bay and easy access to the bay. We will definetly be staying here again!"

"The house was great.Loved the spacious kitchen. I do wish they had said we needed kitchen essentials especially if you were going to stay longer than a couple days. They do give you enough paper towels toilet paper dish dishwashing liquid etc. for doing a few dishes one or two loads of laundry and the dishwasherAlso it would be nice if they had some basic kitchen staples such as salt, pepper oil or Pam. Please make sure that if you’re planning on doing any kind of cooking or anything you can stop in Mobile ahead of time but they also do have a store on the island that has all the essentials plus more. If you want to just walk out and be on the beach then this is for you.Don’t even bother wearing shoes.Visit the aquarium in Fort while you’re there. We really enjoyed itThe restaurants were good but just a FYI they do close early. My family had a great time!!!"

"What an amazing experience! I would give the host 6 stars if I could! She was incredibly responsive and so incredibly kind. They wanted us to have the very best experience and that meant the world to us! The huge back deck was a dream! It was also the backdrop for an amazing view from the gigantic kitchen counter as we were making dinner. My husband and I love to cook, and the kitchen was very well stocked! Go to Bayou La Batre, buy fresh shrimp off of the boat, and BBQ it on the kettle grill. Bring your bikes because you are minutes from the west end beach and the private beach across the street. In fact, we biked from end to end of the island. We didn't even need a car. Even during "busy season" the beaches are incredibly beautiful and bare. This house was the PERFECT foundation for the PERFECT vacation spot."

"We had an amazing time! My husband and kids loved fishing off the dock. The kids also liked kayaking right out back! We enjoyed our time relaxing and spending time together. The property was great and had everything we needed! 10/10!!"

"Party of 10 , enough space for the cooks in the kitchen, and eating at one large table inside and one also on the back deck. Has a gas grill also, which we did not use. The walk to the bay side was a couple minutes and the walk to the gulf side , just across the street 5 minutes. We rented a 6 seater golf cart from Rent and Roll, made sight seeing and restaurant hopping nice to have. Enjoy"
