Very friendly and helpful staff. The Persimmon suite was very spacious and nicely decorated with a cool Bohemian vibe. The bed's mattress needs to be replaced as we sank into it resulting in a poor night's sleep. The grounds and the great room were very clean and inviting spaces. We enjoyed the hot baths very much.

The whole place is very eclectic and awesome! Staff is friendly and welcoming! Stayed in the Turquoise Suite. Close proximity to awesome courtyard and tubs! Enjoyed talking to staff and having pizza delivered to eat in courtyard. Unlimited use of tubs and great weather while we were there!!

This is the second time I've stayed at the Pelican Spa. The first time was excellent. This second time was so disappointing that I won't be staying here again. I was put into the off-site annex, which is 1/2 mile away from the Pelican Spa. This made soaking at the spa inconvenient. The room was decorated nicely with some good amenities but the TV didn't work. There was no coffee for the coffee maker. The fold out couch bed was filthy and unusable. There was no bedding for the couch bed even though the room was advertised, through Expedia, to sleep 4 guests.

The staff, the grounds, the tubs and the experience are all 5 very big stars in my world and in the universe I inhabit. We have been the before and will continue to return because of its special relativity to the value of the dollar and the uniqueness of the property. There are many warm, hot and cold springs in T or C, but I wouldn’t pay an extra cent to see past the front gates. The Pelican Spa has a nostalgic charm that newer spas can’t create even with fancy exotic wooden gates and “plastic”stained glass clerestory embellishments. The smoking area and sitting garden are ample in size and comfortable to the most discerning fanny. The rooms have character rarely seen since the glory days of hot springs and the Roosevelt years. It’s fun, it’s cute, leave your ego and the door and get ready to be soothed, relaxed and set into euphoria, with the lithium waters that flow from their taps. Oh, and for $82 a night with soaking included, it’s the best price in town, in our opinion, there is no other rubs in T or C that we’d rather soak in!

Save your money and DO NOT stay here. The walls were crumbling in the Persimmon room (the most expensive room). The bathrooms needed an update and the front desk attendant will always tell you there are no tubs available. The back patio attached to the room had a back alley filled with needles and trash. Not safe for pets.

Complimentary mineral soaking tubs at the hotel was cool. I would take a room downstairs next time for my dog, but that’s on me. It’s a very small town, make sure you have food/snacks for the evening, even on weekends.

More dingy than quirky, to be honest. Spiderwebs and dead flies on the windowsill right above the pillows, paper-thin curtains that do nothing to block the sunlight/outside view, terrible a/c window unit in the kitchenette area that barely cools the bedroom. Maybe this is just the pink building across the street, but it just felt dilapidated and unkept. To be fair, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sad to say I ended up staying somewhere else for the night.
