Top Truro Hotel Reviews
Townhouse Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"What a fabulous place ! Our room was large, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a huge comfy bed, coffee and lots of different teas (which you are welcome to top up from the breakfast room anytime) and biscuits. Breakfast is continental but there's everything you need and more plus fresh milk in the fridge and, every afternoon, June puts out her chocolate tiffin cakes and famous Victoria sponge cake in an assortment of flavours for you to help yourself......and we did. Fantastic ! The place itself is a 10 minute walk downhill to the city centre and June provided us with a map and noted down some pubs and restaurants, which we took advantage of. In fact, the nearest pub is only a couple of hundred metres away. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay, would definitely return and would highly recommend."
Mannings Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good location in centre of the town. Nice room and very clean, staff very friendly. Bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade, shower wasn't very good. Continental breakfast served everyday with pastries, cereal and fruit which was great, and there was an option to order cooked items as well."
The Rosevine

The Lugger Hotel

"Charming hotel in a small fisherman via"
Donnington Guest House
8/10 Good
"The property was nice, quite a walk from town, but that’s just how it is in Truro. My room was on the top floor and I had a lovely view of Truro Cathedral! While my shower was in the room, the toilet was across the hall. Not a big deal except there was a room right next to mine and I felt like I was disturbing them with early morning trip to the toilet and noisy doors. What I didn’t like was that all the outlets were at floor level, so the cord from the kettle couldn’t reach from the little table.I had to put it on the chair to brew. Also, very noisy plumbing. Overall, a nice stay. It was certainly worth the price!"
Contemporary Beach House with sea views and short walk to Blue Flag beach

The Norway Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Had a fantastic few nights stay the staff were so helpful the bedroom we stayed in was lovely cleaned every day great breakfast nothing was to much trouble would definitely stay again"
Beach Cottage with amazing beach and sea views
8/10 Good
"The location was perfect. However the views in the listing were inaccurate. We could not see the ocean from the back seating area as the hedge was overgrown. The table was not in great shape. Inside the beanbags provided in the living room were filthy as were the curtains and they were also ripped. The bathrooms were dimly lit and only 2 bedrooms had any hanging space. We still had a great family holiday, but the overall feeling of the property was tired and worn. Some TLC would go a long way."
The Idle Rocks
10/10 Excellent
"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
