Hotel Pacific Roma
10/10 Excellent
"I absolutely loved this hotel. Has a family run feel and an old fashioned (in the best way) charm. The concierge and his adorable assistant were just fantastic. Breakfast was unbelievable- everything you could want and so fresh and plentiful. Only there one night but we are definitely going back. Only downside was that the 40 euro set taxi fare to the ciampino airport (not sure about the other one) doesn’t apply as it’s ’out Of the centre’ so taxi ride was expensive- but that’s not the hotels fault / just something to be aware of."

"Nice clean hotel. Good size room and bathroom. Pool and garden are nice, pool is a bit small but is lovely to cool down in. Pool table was a nice addition. Breakfast was varied. 15min walk to metro or 5 mins to a bus or the regional trains."

"One block from the vatican museum. Perfect place if that is your destination. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Go when it is cool most large venues are not air conditioned. But Hotel and staff were great."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of central Rome for a little resort life, this is definitely a great spot. The pool area was the highlight for me — beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed during the hot Rome summer. The food by the pool was also really good, and it was so nice being able to spend the day relaxing without having to leave the property. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was good — I’d personally give it about a 7.3/10. There was plenty to choose from, but compared with some of the other breakfasts we had in Italy, it didn’t completely wow me. My biggest downside was definitely the rooms. They are soooo dated and ours had a strange smell that was hard to overlook. The property has so much potential, though, and I know renovations are underway. Once the rooms are updated, I can see this hotel being AMAZING. Overall, I would recommend Rome Cavalieri if you want a break from sightseeing and city life and want to relax by a beautiful pool and enjoy more of a resort-style experience in Rome. Great service, great pool, good food — it just needs those updated rooms!"

"Maria at check in was amazing and continues to help us throughout the entire trip! The location was perfect, very walkable and had a nearby metro station. The AC was strong and much needed during our summer stay. I would highly recommend this place"
