"1 block away for Vatican museums Our room had a nice balcony and slept 3 comfortably. High ceilings. Breakfast on roof was a nice small buffet. 1st tine in rome and we would stay here again. Walking distance to subway. Being from nyc it was easy to figure out. 7 euros for 24 he train/bus service was perfect. But be prepared to walk. "

"Mama Shelter Roma is an all around great place to stay on Rome. Steps from Capri Metro station gives you access to all the main sites. The Vatican is only a 15-20 minute walk. The area around the hotel is very quiet with everything you need, ie restaurants, pharmacy, supermarkets, laundry services and even a barbershop. The hotel staff was professional and very attentive to our needs. The restaurant is ok but the rooftop bar had great food and drinks. with a very cool vibe at night. We had breakfast everyday of our stay due to its convenience before heading out to explore. Breakfast was nothing special but served its purpose. Overall, fantastic stay. Will definitely return if our travels bring us back to Rome. "

"A hotel located close to the Vatican Walls and therefore access to the museums, basilica and St Peter's Square. Well located for local metro and bus services to the centro storico, but walking distance to the Vatican, and further afield if you prefer to stroll between points of interest. Friendly, helpful and hardworking staff in all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and there are options to eat dinner too. My room was clean and well serviced, with in room AC than can be managed by the guest. A good selection of local eateries, shops and businesses. The indoor market, Trionfale, located at Via Andrea Doria is also close by. Thank you for a lovely stay."
