"That’s what we called it before we even arrived and it was even better than we expected! Sometimes pictures aren’t accurate but in this case the real thing was even better than the pictures! It was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time there immensely! Robin was a great host, very communicative from the booking through the end of our stay. She was kind enough to have a bottle of wine and some fresh flowers for us when we arrived and the evaporative cooler on! We will definitely stay again when back in the Redding area. The mansion cabin was close to all the places we visited. Highly recommended! Just want to share a couple of things: Zogg Mine Road is a one-lane paved road with lots of blind corners. Be very cautious. Also, the last part of the driveway to the mansion cabin is paved but very steep. If you have the capability to put your auto transmission in a lower gear that will help a lot. For this location, it was worth it. Hopefully this extra information is helpful."

"This was a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. Lisa was a great host! The hot tub was so nice. Loved all the outdoor seating and the location. Deer coming and going and the river is a short walking distance away. Lisa has stocked the place with cornhole and other yard games. Perfect get away!"

"We had a wonderful and relaxing Memorial weekend getaway with a beautiful view. The home was huge and clean for the most part. The only dirty part was the kitchen drawers other than that everything else was clean. The beds were super comfy and enough space to lounge around. Definitely would go back."
