"This hotel has the wow factor and really is good value for money and a great place to just switch off and relax. The grounds, hotel and room were immaculately clean. The grand staircase and chandelier welcome you on arrival after check in. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The Deluxe room was perfect, great views overlooking the grounds and had all amenities needed. The breakfast was one of the best hotel ‘buffet’ breakfasts I’ve had with so much choice including smoked salmon which is a rarity nowadays. The bar is a lovely quaint area with helpful staff. The resident peacocks are an absolute delight wondering around the grounds of the estate. 5 stars all round and I will definitely be back."

"Clean room, pleasant temperature, comfy bed and duvet. Only one chair and no table which was ok for one night but wasn’t comfortable sitting in bed to watch tv. Bathroom fans noise in bedroom but go off eventually after light off. Room 219 had some noise but nothing major from revellers outside in the alley at 2am . Bathroom showing slight signs of wear and tear. I struggled to turn on cold water bath tap but the shower was good. Liked the toiletries. Tissues and glasses are a bonus. Only four coffee sachets and one or two more would have been appreciated. Breakfast was okay. Was asked if I’d like to order poached eggs which was a thoughtful gesture. Was disappointed the cereal is no longer in the individual boxes so I didn’t eat. Had a croissant and added Brie and bacon which was good. Reasonable selection on buffet overall. Some items such as melon wasn’t replenished which was a pity."

"Rooms were good and all of the ladies we had at the front desk were lovely and helpful. Only thing that wasn’t the greatest is the rooms were very hot, we could crack a window open which only helped a tiny bit, and our small fan was broken as well."

"An excellent sized room with a comfortable bed and a clean modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient with a good knowledge of the workings of the hotel. Parking is plentiful and right in front of the hotel doors. Conveniently situated just off the M40 but I had a quiet restful night."

"The staff at check in were absolutely lovely. The lady gave my children a little colouring welcome pack, which kept them happy all night. The room was really clean and the kids were really happy. Breakfast was lovely. All the staff were really helpful. We had a really nice time."
