Beautiful surroundings in a great location. Geraldine was so friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and extremely clean, loved the high ceilings. The breakfast was excellent, would highly recommend.

Great location. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. We had to catch a plane before breakfast, but Eddie was kind enough to offer some food to go. Would definitely stay again.

B & B in Trim

Stayed two nights in this beautiful b & b situated within easy walking distance of the town of Trim i travelled from Dublin by bus which has an hourly service also there is another service to Drogheda which serves Navan and Slane.This b&b is an excellent choice to explore the surrounding area i look forward to staying here again

Historisches Gebäude fußläufig zur Burg. Sehr gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild, wie Garten und Gebäude. Hohe Decken mit stuck und Gemälden. Als willkommensgruss lud der Gastgeber uns zum Kaffee mit leckeren scones ein. Leckeres Frühstück mit einer Auswahl und frischen obstsalat. Die Atmosphäre des Gebäudes einmalig und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Lovely B&B overlooking Trim Castle.

Spent our first night in Ireland at Highfield House in the family bedroom, as we were traveling with our 12 year old daughter. The room was a decent size and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also a nice size and very clean. The house was a lovely Georgian house upon a well manicured hill, overlooking Trim Castle. The Castel is a three minute walk as is the town. Thus, you don't need to take your car anywhere to explore Trim. The beds were a bit hard, but after a week in Ireland at comparable places, I think all the mattresses in Ireland are a bit harder than in the US, so you have that. I would highly recommend Highfield House and would be very happy to stay again upon another trip.
