"3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog "

"Rose Cottage is a delightful little old cottage in a very quiet hamlet, off the beaten track. Brilliant for a retreat, if you want to get away from it all. (But we were able to walk into St Just from there - only a couple of miles away) The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. "We had a very peaceful stay. The property was clean, safe, and well maintained. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful goody bag filled with local treats and a few essentials, which was a lovely gesture from the host. The nearby local train station is a huge plus as for just £1.10, you can get to St Ives in under 5 minutes. Highly recommend!"
