"The house is beautiful- clean and new with comfortable beds and upscale furnishings. The private pool and hot tub, and gardens were a treat. The separate one-bedroom unit included was convenient for guests wanting their privacy. The house is very close to shopping and restaurants. Just FYI, here is no direct view of either the sunrise or sunset, but the sky was beautiful off to the sides. The managers were very responsive and helpful."

"We recently spent 3 days at Ko’a Kea Resort in Kauai and was disappointed with the experience. The property looked much older and smaller than it appears online, and the “ocean view” room was quite far from the water. The pool area was very small, with not enough chairs for guests—we had to place towels on the ground to sit. Additionally, the pool bar was out of service one of the three days of our stay. When I raised concerns about the room not matching the photos, no meaningful solution or compensation was offered. I still had a wonderful trip overall, but the hotel was not a highlight. The one standout was the restaurant Red Salt, which was excellent."

The restaurants were really good too, we just were bummed we couldn’t get room service the night we arrived. Other than that, amazing food at lava and rum fire. Coffee shop onsite was great too.
