"The location in proximity to the marathon was excellent, the reason we chose Cambria. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very polite and helpful in a way I’m almost unaccustomed to. The rooms are solid,however, they are growing dated. I stayed at the Cambria over 10 years ago and nothing has changed. There are holes in the curtains and the sitting area tv is a relic. Also, the hvac was spotty. "

"The house and location were perfect. Located right on Torch Lake which was gorgeous and the accomodations totally met our needs, including gracious hosts and delicious outdoor breakfasts."

"Sign says they are upgrading. Our room was probably one of the last to do so. Bathroom in string need of renovation. Crumbling walls."

"Property was very clean and well kept, however, our staff upon check in was not as welcoming or professional as would be considered appropriate. She also forgot to activate one of our door keys and then acted put out when we returned to have it activated. Also, this same staff person put an inadequate room number on our breakfast order, thereby inconveniencing the AM staff as well as us. Other staff were friendly and helpful."

"Everything was right around the corner from the hotel and all the waterspouts and jet ski and biat rentals was on the property. An excellent place to stay overall. "

"The rooms were quiets, nothing loud coming from any rooms. It was close by service stations and other restaurants. Lots of parking places in the hotel areas."

"The owner was so kind and gracious to us. Let us check in early and we had to also check out early due to unforeseen circumstances and she was so nice about everything. She told me over the phone how nice and happy my fiance and I were checking in that we even got a free upgrade. She didn’t know that we were there to take our engagement photos in the sleeping bear dunes so it just made our weekend. Would totally stay again! (: "
