"Communication was excellent, check in instructions were clear. When we first walked in we were impressed by the cleanliness, modern features, spaciousness, and view to the lake ALL in the first step into the condo. Another important feature that doesn’t get mentioned often is the comfort of the beds so I want to let people who are considering this property know that the beds are really comfortable.
The location is central to everything in town, shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Other attractions like Sleeping Bear Dune, wineries, and Fishtown are a pleasant and scenic drive.
I was never concerned with security. There are different codes to get into the building and your room. I would suggest taking a screenshot of them in case you forget them.
There is a coffee maker and they did supply pods of various coffee blends. If you have your favorite you can bring your own pods. The kitchen is equipped if you wish to grocery shop and prepare your own breakfast or dinners.
Overall, Kasa 539 was such a wonderful experience that my wife and I have already decided to book this place again when we come back. I highly recommend this for your family too. "
Historic Hearth · Newly Redesigned Condo in Historic Building
10/10 Excellent
"Overall we had a great time! The location is excellent and our host Carrie responded quickly and was super easy to communicate with. We loved the history of the building including the restaurants and shopping on-site. We would definitely recommend this experience. The only reason I gave accuracy of description a 4 is that we assumed the patio was attached to the unit. Also, dining table is really a dining bar which we had to use to store our food as it's a very small kitchenette. The couches are quite low so eating a meal in the living room isn't really comfortable. Taking a tour of the buildings and grounds is highly recommended... but, beware of the last stop as you enter the steam tunnel. The brick paved ground is not flat, a painful ankle sprain was the result of that lesson. Otherwise, our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and we left with a great appreciation of the history of this place."
