"The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Gare Part Dieu, so very convenient for the train as well as local busses, metro and trams. It is a 45 minute walk from the old town if you don’t use public transport. The hotel was excellent clean and exactly as it looked on the internet pictures, and the breakfast was good value,, though there are also lots of Patisserie’s near by.Would definitely recommend."

"Large comfortable rooms in a very nice historic building. Location was also very central to the historic part of town. Restaurant was decent."

"The most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Yes the rooms are fairly basic but very fair for the price. I would stay here again"

"The staff was helpful and professional. The rooms were small but well appointed. Love the decor and French wrought iron on the lift and staircase! Breakfast a bit pricey but very good. I would stay there again!"

"Due to the age of the building, space is quite limited. Otherwise, it would be a much better hotel."

"Wonderful hotel, would 100% return, lovely staff, great location, rooms were good size and clean."

"Very pleasant stay, the room was large and very clean. Excellent location, right in the middle of an old town."
