"This was a must-do experience. The staff was super friendly. We hadn't booked a meal with our stay, so the staff called the local restaurant to find if they can accommodate our dietary needs (vegan). They made us a reservation and even sent us with a handwritten note in Japanese. The shuttle is very convenient to visit all the Onsens in the town. In hindsight, for a full experience, we should have booked a meal with our stay and called the hotel in advance to request vegan options. "

"Loved it here. My wife did not want to leave. We had the dinner, and we couldn't eat anymore. We seemed happy and excited to help us. were beyond full, but it was delicious. It was also our first time having a full Japanese meal. The staff were lovely. They seemed happy and excited to help us. The onsen on site was delightful. Passes were also provided for the public ones along with a shuttle to get you to them. The yukata provided were comfortable. The futon was cozy. The view from the room, the view from the dining area, and the nature at the onsen were all delightful. Will likely go again if or when we get back to Japan."

"I was welcomed so warmly. I was escorted to my room was wonderful, clean, comfortable and they made me a pot of team an explained were everything was to be found. Kaki was so warm and helpful. She answered all my questions so well and really made the experience extra. So its a 10/10 and because of Kaki its a 11/10!"

"Cute property with wonderful staff. I can't say enough about the hospitality that we enjoyed here. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and helpful. The property has fun decorations and a great view from the eating area on second floor. The food is plentiful! I have a very bad reaction to chemical MSG which is a flavor enhancer used in many Japanese foods. The staff was very helpful in helping me avoid this. Previous to arriving, based on the communication over email I was not sure if I would be able to eat at the hotel, but once we were there it was very clear how they were able to help with my dietary restriction and the food was great. I also forgot a pair of shoes in the lobby and they had it sent to Tokyo. Really great service. "

"Town is small and walkable so location doesn’t matter but this was right on the main waterway with a great view of the little town. Room and accommodation was clean and quiet. Everyone was super friendly and provided a ton of information on where to eat and which onsens were their faves. They were on the money with their recs. Will def stay here again if I ever find myself back in the town!"
