This was a perfect location for what we needed. We were traveling from the USA with the main goal of helping my daughter move into James Cook University for graduate school. The location was convenient to several shopping centers, and we were had the space to store what we bought until move in day (much better than a hotel room). Easy driving distance to the university as well. We did get to see some sites like the Billabong Animal Sanctuary (recommend) and the local museum. We unfortunately did not get to Magnetic Island. Steve (property manager) was very friendly and we were able to speak by phone a couple of times. House was as advertised, and was well suited for the three of us.

The house is old and needs some work,but it is comfortable and well located.The boundry fence and gate need a lot of work for the property to be really pet friendly as the gate cannot be fastened

We stayed at the cottage for four nights whilst visiting Townsville, and it was perfect. Affordable, clean, and easy communication with Steve. The cottage was clean with updated facilities and the comfiest bed!! Great location and view of castle hill at night is lovely. Highly recommend.

Totally enjoyed our stay, very clean and comfortable. The yard was great for our dog Marley, plenty of shade, we also enjoyed sitting outside at outdoor setting.
