"We had been traveling for several weeks before staying at cottages so it was nice having a bigger space. The property is a bit isolated, no large hotels nearby, so great nighttime star gazing. While you easily have beach access, the beach has lots of driftwood lining the edge so no real beach sitting. There is a beach walk along the water.
Good thing there is a kitchen because the on-site restaurant is terribly expensive ($21 for very average cheeseburger) and you don’t really have wait staff, have go to counter to order. We ended up going to a nearby grocery store & getting breakfast & lunch items so kitchen is decently equipped."
"Very pricey but worth it. The property is truly magical. Everyone is cheery and extremely helpful with any questions you have about the property or the island in general. Kukui'ula does not disappoint!"
HOME & GUEST HOUSE FOR PRICE OF 1 POIPU BEACH ESTATES 5 BR/ 5 BA WALK TO BEACH
10/10 Excellent
"This was a perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was there, the location was great and the house was clean. Having access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a great perk! The only thing other members of our family mentioned was that the beds were very springy and weren’t the most comfortable beds. Other than that, we loved the place!"
"This is a good spot for people with children as its an apartment feel and you have everything you need to cook, wash dishes or do laundry. The pool areas are dated but clean as well as the furnishings in the home. If your just a couple there would be more pampering in a hotel setting with out the hidden fees. Cleaning fees and daily amenity fres etc. this shouldve been included in original hotel cost. It was a separate charge for each day you stood there. And we were there several days and they never bothered to at least pick up the trash. Also there is noone 24hours at desk."
