"The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and one has a choice between a continental breakfast or a Jamaican breakfast. My favorites were the ackee and codfish, and the porridge. The gentleman managing the restaurant made sure that the breakfast was enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned regularly and with consideration for the users of the room."

"Had to request a room switch due to the smell, no AC and horrible view (all bamboo). Do not take room 1271. Had to sit in the lobby all night without sleep and wait until 4pm the next day for a new room. New room was much better and rest of our stay was good. Out of my 7day stay, I felt that I only got 5days and 6 nights."

"Property was beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful when needed, food was good. Transportation to and from the airport was easy and smooth! The only hiccup and it was a small one but the one staff member that helped us check in seemed annoyed with us and didn’t honor our first time discount because we signed up online for the romance rewards before arriving per the email instructions. When we tried to do it another way and my phone wouldn’t connect she just gave up. She seemed annoyed with us and dismissive. It was not a great first impression but every other interaction outside of her made up for it. We would return!"

"Our stay at Whispering Seas was lovely. It did start out a little rocky, but Melanie, Melanie, Melanie!! The communication with Melanie was top-tier, and she addressed our issue immediately. I am planning on returning with my entire family next year and hope Melanie will have space to accommodate us all. Two suggestions I have are: having 2 blow dryers available to those who frequent the pool/beach, and a full-length mirror. I have to add that the location is perfect, as it is right outside of Ocho Rios, less than 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle. I am already missing the views and hearing the waves crashing along the shore. Thanks, Melanie for an awesome week away."
