8/10
The only reason I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 was that I was rather taken aback to see one of the family members' cars parked in what is supposed to be the guest's garden, right in front of the table for sitting out to enjoy your coffee. It departed after a couple of days.I was very grateful to them for the bunny being able to be set up near their shed, though, and Kate was very friendly when we managed to meet on the Sunday. There's a lovely welcome pack, much appreciated after a very long journey. Nice, compact accommodation. I managed to set off the smoke alarm several times, just heating a little oil or cooking sausages, so you have to cook with the expel air switched on at the cooker and windows /door open to be sure it won't happen! It's a great base for exploring Dartington / Totnes, which are reachable on foot, and exploring nearby footpaths. Driving around, I found a beautiful spot to visit on Dartmoor at Grimspound. Worth going back for that alone!
