"We loved staying here and the staff was amazing. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy being outside in their gorgeous gardens much but we did have some spectacular views of Siena when we did. We didn't realize when we booked how far from city centre we would be, but the good thing was that the bus picked us up at the bottom of the driveway and for 1.70 each took us to the city centre . The restaurant on site has the same menu for lunch and dinner so pro tip eat lunch at the bar with a different menu if you aren’t going out. The shuttle only goes to San Gimignano and runs at 10, 11:15, 1:30 and 5:15. We wish there was a 3PM option but taking public transport is cheap and easy. "The staff were outstanding. Got there 2 hours early to drop our cases and the receptionist found a room so we were able to check in early. Very good location, quiet but close to centre and breakfast was amazing. Lovely touch having a coffee machine in our large and airy room. Bathroom products smelt wonderful, apparently they are specially made for the hotel. Would definitely stay here again."
