"The big views from our room were amazing! We loved watching the surf break on the cliffs and falling asleep listening to it! Bed was very comfortable, lovely patio, tea, coffee, even cookies and crackers! The staff are all delightful and the breakfast was really relaxing and delicious. Freshly baked cake every morning!"

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"Good clean property, nice owners. One advantage is that the owners are on property so there is no issue with late arrival. Would stay again if in the area. The only suggestion I'd have is to give better instructions on driving to the property, google takes you to a slightly off location. "

"Unique design and style, amazing breakfast ( freshly baked goods). Rooms are phenomenal. Area is ok. But you can drive 15-20 min and find restaurants. You have to have a car otherwise there is nothing around it. Parking is on the street. "
