"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"The property and views were wonderful and Mr. Luigi was fantastic. PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is."

"Our room overlooks the mountains, but the view you can admire from the terrace is truly fantastic.We went to visit the nearby castle and it was truly fantastic to walk through the woods to reach it.We will definitely return in the summer to do some excursions on the lake.A greeting to the hosts who have always been available and kind.See you soonMarco"

"Such a lovely Villa and a helpful property manager. If you're looking for a unique experience and a beautiful get away then this is your place! Amazing view of Bellagio just across the water on Lago Como. Downtown Varenna is just a short 10 minute drive from the Villa but it feels remote and with the Villa being right on the waterfront, the sounds of the water lapping on the rocks below can lull you to sleep at night. I would recommend this property to anyone who has a small to medium sized...

"Pros: The house is old, beautiful and very special. With a green garden which is well maintained with nice outside seating. The inside is unique and offers many spaces for people to spend time together. Cons: The kitchen is small and old for such a size of a house. It was sometimes a limiting factor when cooking for such a large house. In addition, there was no light in the kitchen or proper ventilation.
