Reminiscent of a traditional Cornish cottage, boasting a beamed ceiling and slate flooring, the open-plan lounge/diner combines rustic charm with sumptuous, homely touches which sets a truly warming ambience that beckons tired travellers to unwind and dine with loved ones. As the cooler evening air settles, fire up the roaring wood burner to keep toes toasty way past bedtime. Flooded with natural sunlight, the beautiful kitchen will capture your imagination, inspiring you to get creative with your fabulous local produce as the evening breeze whistles through the patio doors. At the end of a busy day’s adventure, head upstairs to soak weary walking muscles in the roll-top bath in the sophisticated bathroom before retiring to the crisp, white linens of the king-size bedroom. From sunrise to sunset, the enclosed patio garden is a haven of tranquillity; dine alfresco with your morning coffee or star gaze from the comfort of the hot tub. Outside, you’ll also find parking for three cars.
The idyllic South Cornwall coastline offers some of the finest seaside scenery and heritage Cornwall has to offer, with the coastal gems of Looe and Polperro and the traditional fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand all reached within 11 miles. Keen walkers and cyclists can join the iconic South West Coast Path to be rewarded with breathtaking views. Those who love life by the water can enjoy a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside at the gloriously golden stretches of Tregonhawke Beach (9 miles) and Tregantle Beach (7 miles), which both form part of the glorious 3-mile stretch of Whitsand Bay.
