"Kathy was absolutely delightful, making us feel so welcomed! It’s a great area to stay in, easy to walk to the shops/restaurants in Ocean Grove, the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park. It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful courtyard area of the Inn. And we had to leave early for an event and didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. Wonderful place to stay and we look forward to going back!"

"Very cute B&B. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was up on the top 3 rd floor. Slanted ceilings, easy to bump you head. We had 2 queen beds. No way could 2 people sleep in a bed; the inside person would bump their head when they sat up. Had to climb over a high tub to get in, and use a spray hose to was up. Lots of towels, soaps, lotions provided. "

"The Spring Lake Inn is a historic property, attractive & well maintained, close to the beach. Nice continental breakfast. Staff was helpful. It would have been nice if they had a list of good recommended restaurants in the area, with contact information. We got info from Google & Trip Advisor, but we prefer local knowledge. The WiFi on our floor(2nd) was very spotty. I could not maintain a connection in our bedroom, with my laptop. When I went downstairs to the little living...

"Overall ok. Nice staff. Clean. Small cramped room. Loud RR tracks nearby. You hear every creek in the house. Wall AC unit that gets warm. Decent breakfast. Nice front porch and lake in the back. Good parking. Not too many options that close to beach. I would stay again, but manage your expectations. "
