"We had a wonderful trip up to the yellow bach and will most definitely book it regularly. Thank you David for the wonderful communication and support - we really appreciate the opportunity to have enjoyed such a beautiful location with an awesome base as this. The bach was nice and tidy with all amenities needed.Thank you again!"

"Lovely property, in a quiet cul de sac with a walkway to the beach/estuary almost directly opposite.Handy covered outdoor entertaining area with bbq and seating.We did not stay long enough to use the kayaks, but wish we had had more time!A short drive to local excellent restaurants and supermarket.Plenty to explore in and around Mangawhai!"

"The staff were amazing. We arrived early as we had a funeral to attend. The young lady changed our room so we could get changed . Much appreciated. The restaurant was fantastic and the food wonderful. Looking really awesome. The room was clean and tidy,good size for us. The bathroom was old and in need of a dose of exit mould maybe. That was our only complaint,and only a small one. Overall ,it was a lovely stay."

"Would recommend bringing some extra firewood as you can quickly burn through the supply and use in excess! So to be fair to the host would be a good idea to bring extra. Same goes for the candles as you can burn them pretty quick. Take note of the power bank and no plug-in power so you arrive prepared. A great host, a very special experience and had all you needed. Great spot to stay!"
