Historically significant space with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect. Located in a historic community within minutes of Downtown. Our guests have found the property to be stunning.
We are new to VRBO. But we have over 400 online reviews with an average rating of 4.8. We decided to include the third floor Penthouse/ballroom. This enables our guests to enjoy the entire mansion.
The Mansion is 10,500 square feet. The Third Floor is a 3,000 square foot Ballroom/Penthouse, which is included.
There are seven bathrooms and seven bedrooms. There are two additional sleeping areas. One on the on the third floor and the other on the first floor.
Enclosed fenced parking. Additional street parking.
The World Class Toledo Museum of Art is a brisk 15-minute walk away.

Lovely home

Great place for ladies weekend!

12 of us ladies had a wonderful time - so much room for all of us to spread out and space to all be together. So many details that were fun to find during our stay. Everything we needed was there!

Great value

Not the greatest part of town, but never felt unsafe. Had zero communication with owner, except note on the counter. Huge space with lots of rooms. Only one TV worked out of entire house. Lots of non-working lights. Master bath has a steam shower, but also doesn’t work. But for the price, it was a great value!

Beautiful Historic property

This property is stunning! We had plenty of room for our group of 8. The property was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go in Toledo. The West End is an up and coming neighborhood, with many properties in revitalization. I would recommend staying here if you have a larger group.

The pictures were very nice but seeing and being inside the place was amazing.

My moms 70th birthday was one to remember thanks to the amazing place. I will be recommending this location to many of my professional friends and family! Absolutely amazing!

Very Spacious Place to Enjoy

Very good place to stay for bigger groups. Only concern we had was some items (ex. Dryer) not functional and couldn’t use for whole entire stay. However, overall it was a great spacious place and perfect for large groups to stay and enjoy.

Wonderful mansion

We stayed here for our annual fantasy baseball auction. The upstairs was an excellent space for a get together. Great lighting and comfortable furniture. Nice bedrooms and plenty of televisions. Some good space outside for having a catch. Host was easy to work with. Everyone raved about how nice it was.

Home was not ready when we got there. Had to check in at 5:30 and cleaning staff was still there. Contact host regarding where to leave extra garbage due to the holiday. Never text me back.

80th Birthday in the city

The house is massive. The kitchen is updated and had plenty of room to prepare food as well as to eat. The house was spacious enough for multi generations to have separate areas to interact as well as come together. Outside was a pleasant area to sit, chat and cook even though it was a crisp spring day Everyone loved it

Mother’s Day Toledo Zoo Weekend

My wife and I hosted 3 of our adult children and their children at the Mansion. It is a beautiful place to stay. The grandkids ran miles throughout the halls and playing hide and seek in this 13,500 square ft estate and is only four minutes to the zoo. The owners are very kind and the kitchen is well equipped. The family loved the ballroom which had exercise equipment, pool table, a dining room table with comfortable chairs (great for playing games), and two large tvs….and another kitchen on the third floor. It was definitely a fun experience.

Funeral arrangements for Dad

The house was a beautifully restored mansion. Lots of space for our family to gather while in town for our dad's funeral. The location was in an urban setting, but very safe. It was centrally located for all of our arrangements so it was perfect. Ample parking available as well as we had multiple cars. When we arrived, we found a beautiful arrangement of flowers and a card. Wishing us condolences for our dad. So very thoughtful and kind! We would definitely stay there again

Wonderful Historic House

The house worked great for our group of 18. The pictures don't do the first floor justice. The first level is much more open than we expected. The woodwork was beautiful. Very clean. Everybody slept well. Figuring out the light switches was a little bit of an issue but we worked through it. We were a little short of silverware. Overall, a great experience.

Big family, no problem!

Keep in mind this is a historical home. So do not expect everything to be perfect. The temperature will fluctuate from floor to floor and room to room. The hot water will take a while to get to all the floors and the entrance is a very tight driveway. All that being said, the host were gracious and quick to help us out if we needed it. We had 10 adults and every couple had their own room & bathroom. The kitchens had everything we needed. Large tables for games and dinner. We enjoyed our time here. One thing I would have liked to know before is that the neighborhood is run down but I never felt unsafe or that it was a problem. Easy on & off interstate.

Great place to spend a family holiday together!

This mansion was able to accommodate the sleeping arrangements of our family who wanted to gather for Christmas! The home had decor set up and we were able to play board games, listen to music, relax in our rooms and on any of the three available levels. We were safe and enclosed and there was extra parking available on the street. We were able to cook our full Christmas meal as there were two kitchens. One of the first level and one on the third level in the penthouse. The layout was such a surprise and very open in the third level. There were many televisions. One tv in the penthouse was unable to project sound and the tv in the suite connected to the jacuzzi had no signal. Other than that, we had everything we needed. If you stay longer than two days, I suggest bringing extra paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, etc. We discarded a lot of trash from boxes and items that were used from our grocery store purchases. Great place to have a wedding, family reunion, holiday gathering, repass, or getaway.
