"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. "Beautiful views of Umbria. Large old house with a lovely garden and pool - looked after every day by Guiseppi who was very kind and helpful. Lovely Umbrian hill top towns within a short drive.
