"Beautiful hotel, we upgraded to a club room on arrival. Only gripe was that the room was small and was expecting a bit bigger with the upgrade."

"Photos for family rooms show bunk beds for kids as we have had in previous rooms, however it was actually a small sofa bed. Disappointed as the bunks were the main reason I booked this for teenage boys, If you have mobility issues ensure you ask in advance for a room in the main hotel. My elderly parents were allocated the garden court room which they struggled with, we hadn’t realised there were two buildings. in the garden court area had dirty glasses and empty wine bottles outside several rooms, 24hrs later they were still there attracting flies due to the heat, Hotel was fine for one night stay but Wouldn’t rush back."

"Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Parking is tight and £15 per night for guests. No air con in rooms so they get very warm. We were above the pub entrance area on the 2nd floor so noisy around 7am. In a great location for the centre of Harrogate and would stay again and ask for a room on the front where it’s likely to be less noisy"

"We came here for our mini-moon the day after getting married. We paid almost £500 as a treat to ourselves and we won't be coming back. We have 4 issues with our room which should have been picked up by house-keeping/maintenance. The staff were nice enough and house-keeping was very apologetic but we weren't moved rooms until the next night (which also had a couple of issues but it wasn't worth moving again for). The cocktails were perfect and the food was good, the french fries were my favourite although I did have to send back my caesar salad though due to dirt on the salad leaves. Parking is expensive and unclear. Due to a misunderstanding we ended up paying £84 for parking, the hotel then "refunded" the £40 but it just got turned into credit for the hotel."
