"A wonderfully relaxing stay. Highly recommend. We had such a wonderful stay at Comwell Borupgaard. The whole hotel has a lovely peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. Such a fantastic selection, everything beautifully prepared and presented. We really couldn’t have asked for more. The spa was another highlight. So many different facilities to enjoy, and we spent long, leisurely days making the most of everything. It was the perfect place to completely switch off. Everything about our stay felt calm, comfortable and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful escape."

"Amazing location, gardens and lounges take advantage of the sea view, sauna is great. The restaurant is really good, and even without a reservation they will make space for hotel guests. Wine o'clock is 4-5 every day, when guests are given a glass of wine grown by the family in Mallorca. Visited midsummer at their busiest and it was sometimes hard to get staff's attention. Also could really have used having water more easily available, not having to queue at the bar every time. But overall would definitely recommend."

"Very nice little place to stay. Quiet and out of the way. Rooms were basic but had what was needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and plentiful. Breakfast served between 06.00 and 08.00 was a little earlier than expected."

"This is a "capsule hotel" meaning you get a text message or email with a door code the morning of your stay and then you can get into your room. This is fine but you need to have some kind of connectivity to read those messages. I found the place quiet and pleasant; somewhere in-between a hotel and a hostel, with people in the morning willing to talk and hang out. However, the only way to contact the staff is by cellphone; there is no staff on-site. So when there are screaming toddlers running up and down the halls or there is a problem with something there is no way to contact people because they aren't there. The price is excellent, though, it is a fifteen-minute walk from the train station (and a walk through a lovely small town that is worth the visit for itself) and the rooms are comfortable. Bikerod itself is worth a visit. I would definitely stay here again. The bar next door is an old Danish "brown pub" which is populated with serious drinkers... old guys who show up at 9am for their first beer and leave late in the evening. There are a bunch of reviews on the internet from people saying they were treated poorly there, but I liked the place myself. Just go in and be respectful and don't act like a goddamn tourists, just be quiet and drink a beer. The beer is good, but there is no food."
