A really lovely stone built property with amazing views a mile outside the local village. Great location to access Tintagel, local beaches and North Cornwall. Very well specified properly with pretty much everything you need, from kitchen implements, to kids DVDs to washing machine etc. The only downside is a very narrow spiral staircase to access the first floor (which is also where the toilet is), so not one for people with limited mobility

What a gorgeous old cottage! It is comfortable and cosy, decorated in keeping with its style and age and in a stunning location overlooking farm fields and the see in the near horizon. Also had a super garden with outdoor tables to enjoy in good weather. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was very cosy and warm, lovely garden our dogs had a lovely time. One drawback was the internet which is shared with the adjoining cottage. At best it was on for about an hour at worst it was on for 30 seconds at a time. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely old cottage in great location, suitable only for the able bodied: the spiral staircase to the bedrooms and bathroom was very difficult for my disabled wife

Perfect relaxing cottage. Old style decor Kitchen fantastic, spent most of our time there.Wonderful rustic charm.Panoramic views great.Garden lovely, shame weather did not allow us to use it. Spiral staircase took a while to get used to, but is part of the charm of the place. We loved it and would return . Great base to see North Cornwall

Downhouse is a lovely cosy cottage dotted around with charming antique touches. We loved the sea views from the cottage and also the beautiful garden that came with the cottage. I stayed there with four children; so one adult and 4 children and it was just right! The only hitch was the one bathroom but it was not a big issue as we were out most of the time. We did enjoy coming back from a day on the beach and having a shower with plenty of hot water for all of us. The cottage is also ideally situated to explore fishing villages like Port Isaac and the lovely town of Wadebridge. Gina the owner was very helpful with suggestions for good beaches and restaurants and also fishmongers.
