"Be aware you may not even get a parking spot for the stated price on the hotel info. Its 1st come 1st serve, so if you check in late (like 10P)- not a chance. Parking is a block away. Best just get on Spot Hero and prepay to reserve a spot inthat same parking garage. Loved that this place was a 13 min walk to Wrigley. So many great coffee options in the block around the hotel. Hotel lobby was out of regular coffee as we checked out and didn't want to wait for more to be made. Great Bagel Authority a few doors down is a great breakfast option. Hotel right next to train stop (Red line), but didnt hear the train once during our stay. Quaint hotel that was well kept and homey. Super tiny elevator. Separate sitting area that could've housed another person,on the couch. Beds and shower very nice. Will stay here again. "

"This charming, vintage hotel was exactly the stay of our dreams. It's a great price in a wonderful neighborhood. The staff was so kind and they even had cookies out in the lobby during the day. I'm thankful a hotel like the Willows exists in Chicago, staying there made our visit that much better. "

"First time at Dorothy's but I've stayed at her sister location so I know the owner/management and what to expect. Great location and the building is kept up very well. My only non happy comment was no dresser in this room. Its ok since this visit was just me. Being able to use a full kitchen and store food in the refrigerator is a major plus"

"Great location! Easy walk to the stadium and many other attractions. Had a very large parking lot available for us to park in directly next door which was very nice. Hard to find parking so that made this hotel stand out to us from others for the price . "

"This is a perfectly nice and cute hotel in a good location near the stadium. Apparently it is one of three locations across the city, and they all share CENTRALIZED guest services staff. Said another way, there is no staff onsite to help you with anything, including opening the front door. You have to complete check in online, including a photo of your ID and a selfie for identity verification, before you can get a key... to be clear, that is a key to the building AND your room. If you like me haven't done this yet, you have to call the number on a piece of paper taped to the window and they will text you things to do while you and your bags stand on the sidewalk as long as is required to get through checkin. Luckily Im tech savvy, but if this had been my parents for instance, who are in their sixties and relatively savvy themselves, there would be no hope. Once you're in, the hotel is cute and fine. Then again, lack of staff was a huge inconvenience as I needed to stow my bags for the day before an evening flight, but no staff to do that. I had to uber to a hotel near where I was going and use their bell desk. So unnecessary. Note to The Chicago Hotel: this model doesn't work, and I wouldn't recommend anyone do this to themselves when there's plenty of other places to stay."

"It was impossible to get in contact with anyone in the “lobby” which was just a locked room down a hallway with a phone i could hear ringing over and over again through the walls. I did not see a single staff member my entire stay. The walls are so thin I could hear every little thing. Thank god the speak easy was closed downstairs or I don’t think I would have gotten any sleep at all. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and half a roll of toilet paper. No hooks anywhere to hang your belongings so everything/wet towels had to stay on the floor. There was no heat or air conditioning just a tower fan in the corner of the room which got very stuffy and very uncomfortable fast. The only thing I enjoyed about my stay was the convenience of being close to a parking garage, numerous restaurants and the L train. Other than that I will be sure to never stay there again. I could have stayed some where so much nicer for the $230 I was charged plus surprise 15$ fee at checkout. "
