"What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

"It was well maintained and the rooms were spacious and clean. The front of the property reminded me of quaint bed and breakfast hotels and wonderfully designed. I will be back!"

"good stay, thanks"

"I was a little worried about some if the reviews I had read before planning our trip. However, we went with it and were glad we did. We would stay there again. It's a cute place located in a fun, artsy, easy going vibe location. A cute neighborhood. "Perfect location for seeing a show at The Vic! Lots of restaurants nearby. I didn’t love having the private bathroom not connected to the room but I did know about this when I booked. Everything was very clean and the staff-free check in went smoothly. I’d stay here again."

"It was close to the venue I wanted to go see the concert"

"No issues with the check in process. Great location and comfortable room."

"My only suggestions. The batteries in the rechargeable TV remotes die too quickly and the room service ordering software on the tablet was lacking pictures. Options for an omelet were red and unavailable to select. So unless they were out of eggs, that was an issue. And the bedside tablet nightlight is nice, but too bright. These were a struggle to come up with because the service was impeccable."

"Amazing experience! Worth every dollar!"
