"Great location as it was a very short drive into town and to the grocery store. Some steep turns and roads to get to the house but once we got there, we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the space in general. Carole was quick to respond to the one question we had and the checkout process was simple with clear instructions. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!"

The suite is located in the peaceful and quiet Mirror Lake area, just a short walk from the town of Highlands. "I booked this hoochee haus for a nice quiet getaway and to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. The place ws so clean. It had all the things i needed. And the view on the river was so beautiful i could not have had a better place. It was close enough to walk to the little town. Or park in town and wander around all day and then drive back. The weather was great. The people were friendly. I met a new friend on my last day there. I will return to this hoochee haus."

"The natural beauty of the area around Brasstown Valley Resort is incredible. God's handiwork on display! Overall our experience was excellent. The only negative was that the Brassies Grill was understaffed every time we either ate there or tried to eat there. For the price of items on the menu and the fact that it was the only option for food at certain times at the resort, they definitely could do better. "
