Super nice staff, room was nice and clean, and there was a fan during the heatwave!

The interior is way better than you’d expect given the exterior. While the pool is not large, you do also get a sauna and steam room. Huge exterior space too with nice views. Definitely recommend it.

The location was perfect, and the hosts were very kind. Breakfast was exceptional! I would definitely stay here again. It is close to a pretty walking path where my daughter discovered a playground that she really loved. We are so happy we stayed at Avonpark House. Highly recommend!

Fabulous and historic property with interesting architecture. Like all stately home type properties some of the decor is difficult to maintain to a high standard, so there are minor signs of wear here and there and no aircon. The food, staff and service are very good, breakfast was of high quality. We didnt try the spa but seemed to be appreciated by those on a spa package. Fabulous overnight experience, and the castle is unparalleled. Expedia-bookers beware! Booking through Expedia is for lodging only, it does not include admission to the castle, which would be included if you booked directly through the castle website. Very clean

My husband, 2 daughters (17 and 13) and myself stayed in the family suite. It had 2 separate bedrooms...one with twin beds and one with a queen bed. We ate dinner and breakfast there...delicious. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Even though we were upstairs and there was a bar downstairs we didn't hear anything from our room. Very historic building...close to Stratford on Avon.
