"This lodge looks nice and the staff are helpful. But it has a major problem with noise. The walls are paper thin. When I arrived, there was a whirring/rumbling noise outside my room. When I inquired, the staff said it was meant to be noise-cancelling.
They really need to tear apart the walls between individual units and soundproof them. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and never been able to hear EVERYTHING in the next room. I was in a room with a loft and next door had one too, as I could hear them going up and down the stairs constantly. The walls posed no barrier for conversations at normal volumes. I think you get the point.
Also for a place that has such a nice central area and wood finishing, the bathrooms are really lousy - super small shower stalls."
