"The hotel was very small nothing like the pictures, we were on the third floor had to take cases up no lift. No hot water, tap loose towel rail falling of the wall, light on bedside cabinet not working, no hairdryer as described on site . Very poor breakfast. How it got four stars I shall never know. "

"Great location - a short walk to the promenade by Green Point lighthouse. There is a hot breakfast which is delicious and made to order. The front terrace is a nice place to sit out in the evenings, and there is an honesty bar. Place feels secure with a member of staff always on duty by the front gate. "We stayed at the newly revamped hotel for two weeks and loved our stay. After an initial problem with our room, we were instantly upgraded to a large room with a breathtaking view of Lion's Head and the sea. The staff at The Ritz are simply wonderful! They are all friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast buffet was good, with eggs made to order and a good selection of other items.
