"Lovely room and very hospitable hosts"

"Staff here are where very helpful we booked a family room when arriving into our room there was only a double bed and one single for a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were very quick to help and re arranged us a new room without hesitation. We had travelled a lot the day of staying. Decided to eat at the hotel was disappointed that there wasn’t a children menu for our children to pick from. "Stop for a week the Breakfast was just warm and chips for breakfast it's to over priced"

"15 minutes drive from the Lincoln Showground, it's a light and airy hotel, friendly staff. The bathroom tiling was unfinished and the mastic areas were roughly done. Having said that the room was clean, bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable. The breakfast was okay, basic and a little dry (bacon, beans and egg) but we didn't come down to eat until 9.30am so maybe that was why. "Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. "Clean tidy and quiet "

"Excellent well designed modern lodge in superb condition. Ensuite bedrooms, comfortably furnished lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Peaceful, secure countryside setting. Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. "

"Really quirky and comfortable B&B with the most amazing hosts. We were made to feel so welcome and Anna makes the best ever homemade cookies! My friend is gluten and dairy free and Iain and Anna could not have been more accommodating. Excellent breakfast, comfy and very clean rooms. Sorry we only stayed one night! "

"We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view. "Great nothing was wrong or bad"

"We arrived at 9pm with a car full of expensive filming equipment, no spaces in the car park. I suggested parking where other cars were parking near the hotel on double yellows but the desk person said this was not allowed and they would be moved on, they weren’t nor were the two non disabled cars in the disabled bays. Parking is very badly managed and desk person totally unhelpful. Feel sorry for any disabled drivers as non of the spaces were being used by blue badge holders"
