"Bed and pullout were comfortable and overall good; however, the bathroom had mold, shower doors were off track and wouldn’t close all the way. There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor and the toilet paper holder needed to be fixed. For $250 a night it should have been better maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room itself was clean, excluding the shower mold in the bathroom."

"Everything was great. Breakfast was good. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recomend and would definitely stay again. Everything you could possibly need is within 10 min drive. Very convenient."

"History inside and out, beautiful. Not a senior friendly property. No way to access or depart Inn without steps. We were put in the a unit that had extra steps to and from room which was cold 65. Lower temperature in bathroom, too cold to shower, not stocked. Inn was not full so rooms located in main building without additional steps were available. Poor move on front desk clerk. Restaurant was beautiful but poorly managed and staffed. Not recommended for disabled persons. We also...

"this is the dirtiest hotel I’ve have seen. There were no pillow cases. Paying a low amount of a hotel I was expecting much but the dirt and smell was unbelievable. Be smarter than me and just spend a the extra money on a better hotel. The...

"My stay was a wonderful experience. The hotel has a unique charm, with its beautiful landscaped grounds, peaceful gardens, picturesque ponds, and waterfalls that create a relaxing atmosphere away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The spacious accommodations and inviting surroundings make it a lovely place to unwind, enjoy quality time, and simply appreciate a change of scenery. I especially love the nature-inspired setting, which gives the property a distinctive character and makes the...

"I had a very nice stay at The Buxton and Mark was the kindest person to work with as he supported my reservation. Very comfortable bed, and the breakfast was delicious and to order. I look forward to them opening a full restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, I did not encounter and ghost, maybe next time! Kathy F"

"Everything was perfect. Liked that there were plenty of local restaurants in the area to choose from."

"Overpriced. The property is dirty and the pet policy is not regulated. Dogs would bark late at night and it smelled like dog everywhere."

"Great stay in the Guest House for our family while visiting student at Denison. Wonderful screened in porch and backyard. Highly recommend for any short or long term stay in Granville."

"Wonderful, clean, friendly"
