"It seemed like a campsite. Checkin was at the restaurant which was kids running around screaming EVERYWHERE. Room wasn’t ready so we waited a few hours and ate. Food I will say was delicious!! It’s on the water - or lack there of. More mud and not a pretty sight. Our room was in the very back and no one offered to help with our bags. Then it was up maybe 20 stairs. Hot. Room was basic. "Upon arrival, didn't see any staff for a good 3 hours, before they finally turned up. 'Low season' and wasn't expecting checkins... Not the correct way to function a hostel. Other than that, dorm was untidy bathroom looks new, but poorly maintained."

"Overall we had a lovely stay. We had a ground floor room so it took about 3 seconds to walk to the pool :). We loved the pool & the water temperature was lovely & warm. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was basic (no iron) but the bed was really comfortable. My only issues were the bathroom needs a little attention although it was clean. "I’ve travelled Thailand extensively and this is one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The description dates that there’s a bar and restaurant, this doesn’t exist. There was no water on arrival. No information given at the desk at all. If I had known to walk along the beach ten meters then I would have went to a neighbouring restaurant and saved myself a trek back to the main road. Signs up to say no loud noise after ten, this wasn’t adhered to, noise into the early hours on first night. Plus...

"Wanderlust was an awesome hostel with a cool staff, great for the big parties. Alcohol quite expensive but beer pong and drinking games were fun. No wifi in our room was annoying but good wifi everywhere else in the property, bathrooms average but OK. Pretty good location"

"This was a good mid tier resort to stay at. The property is beautiful. Beach front dining. Food was not that great but edible. You can get better food just a walk away. The rooms were good, except for the last couple of day we were there, but that’s not a bad thing. Staff were nice, on the ball. All requests were answered promptly. I personally would not stay here again, since there are many other resorts I would like to visit. "
