"It seemed like a campsite. Checkin was at the restaurant which was kids running around screaming EVERYWHERE. Room wasn’t ready so we waited a few hours and ate. Food I will say was delicious!! It’s on the water - or lack there of. More mud and not a pretty sight. Our room was in the very back and no one offered to help with our bags. Then it was up maybe 20 stairs. Hot. Room was basic. "Overall we had a lovely stay. We had a ground floor room so it took about 3 seconds to walk to the pool :). We loved the pool & the water temperature was lovely & warm. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was basic (no iron) but the bed was really comfortable. My only issues were the bathroom needs a little attention although it was clean. "Wanderlust was an awesome hostel with a cool staff, great for the big parties. Alcohol quite expensive but beer pong and drinking games were fun. No wifi in our room was annoying but good wifi everywhere else in the property, bathrooms average but OK. Pretty good location"

"This was a good mid tier resort to stay at. The property is beautiful. Beach front dining. Food was not that great but edible. You can get better food just a walk away. The rooms were good, except for the last couple of day we were there, but that’s not a bad thing. Staff were nice, on the ball. All requests were answered promptly. I personally would not stay here again, since there are many other resorts I would like to visit. "

"So me and my son have been travelling Thailand for 4 weeks now and stayed in various properties. This was in a poor condition, dirty walls, loads of little flies in the room, air conditioning not working properly, and then this morning when we woke up loads of condensation in the walls. The bathroom smelt of urine. Would not stay here again. "

"The room condition was accurately reflected by the photographs. The venue was kept cleanly, and the pool was a nice addition to hot sunny days. The location is comfortable and convenient walking distance to everything Thong Sala related. We had a great stay and the staff were very accommodating. "Beach was not nice or usable, the shower was only trickle and the AC was way too cold at night. The upside was the daily excursions were offered for a very reasonable price and there was a fun vibe. Staff was not very helpful when I lost something, they didn’t even try to look for the item. "

"A nice new hostel, everything's in good shape. The owner and workers are very kind. The beds are comfortable an de there are good showers. There's a nice area on the main floor to hang out/ play pool and meet others staying at the hostel. It gets a bit hot in the rooms during the day because they turn of fun the air conditioning, but I guess you don't really want to be hanging out in the rooms during the day anyway."
