Best Western Pahrump Oasis

"I had a King room with the "kitchenette." The room itself was very nice....except it was very close to the road and traffic was VERY loud starting at about 5am each morning. Couple other issues: 1. I got there at exactly 2:47pm and asked to check-in. Was told I had to wait until 3pm. (OK....have never had another hotel quibble over 13 minutes, but whatever...) EXCEPT - after sitting in the car for 15 minutes, went back in and had to stand in line for over 30 minutes because the one girl (who told me I had to wait) was the only one checking guests in and it took her forever! 2. I tend to take short showers...except my last night there I took a little longer (MAYBE 10 minutes....) and the water made a weird noise and switched completely to cold. 3. One evening, I decided to go to the hot tub (near the pool) since I'd been hiking all day. It certainly shouldn't be called a hot tub - it was maybe "warm" (I'd guess about 90F) and it wasn't close to being full, so the water was splashing all over the place - the sidewalk and our faces. Overall, I didn't spend much time in the hotel - that's not the reason I go to Pahrump - so next time I'll probably check out the Holiday Inn Express just up the road."

"Everything was clean and good shower and fridge and microwave. Breakfast was a container of Raisin Bran and Cheerios and a banana and apple, in the room. It was away from town center and fine if you’re continuing on to Vegas. We had to double back to spring mountains so a bit inconvenient. Also note K7 pizza closed on mon and Tues. French bakery in town excellent pastries."

"This is is a great place to stay if you're visiting Death Valley! It is only 40 mins away. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Not related to the room but I saw a comet while I was there such a cool little town!"

"What a gorgeous property! The home had everything we needed and was the perfect place for our family to gather. Our adult sons traveled from three different states to celebrate their brother’s wedding in Pahrump, and having such a beautiful, comfortable space where everyone could come together made the occasion even more special. So many memories were made here, and that was truly precious to us.Being dog-friendly was a huge plus! Our dogs got to enjoy time with their boys, too. I honestly think they’ll miss running around outside every morning before breakfast and again after dinner!Darci was also an incredible host! We ran out of propane right in the middle of grilling, and within minutes of messaging her to ask where we could get more, she contacted her husband and they arranged for a replacement tank so we could finish cooking. That kind of thoughtfulness and responsiveness really stood out to us!We’re so grateful we found this home for such a meaningful family occasion. Beautiful property, wonderful hospitality, and memories we’ll cherish for years. Thank you, Darci!"

"The house was better than advertised. Kitchen had everything we needed for fixing meals. Air conditioning, was perfect. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. About our host, Gayle was available by phone or text anytime, I had to call her several times for very simple things. She was always helpful, never minded my calls. This was our third stay at her lovely home, I think that is a good recommendation. Thanks Gayle. Marilyn, David and family"

"It was the most beautiful and comfortable home my family and I stayed at. Clean rooms, bathrooms and living room was very pretty. Just waking up for breakfast and getting that good sun through the windows was the best! The host is very kind and it was an amazing experience. Perfect spot for future visits, we will come back to this lovely home!"

"This was definitely an affordable and roomy place. My family had space which was a plus. Sharing one bathroom was the only challenge. Overall our stay was great. Communication with the host with a request I asked for was accommodated which was great and made staying that much more better!! Thank you for that!!"
