"Convenient location off the motorway. Plenty of parking. Friendly check-in. Room was spacious, clean with large bed and well fitted bathroom with a decent shower. Good facilities in the room such as hair straightener and hair dryer but no kettle. Hot/ cold water is available at a tap in the corridor so be prepared to take your teapot to get water for a brew. Food is served at the adjoining 'diner' which was always busy. Not great options for vegetarians (a plant burger) but breakfast went did...

"We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience"

"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"Room spotless, bottle of cold water and fresh milk in fridge a bonus. Staff all friendly and helpful even carried out bags up the steep stairs. Although over a pub no problem with noise. Able to park car in their car park and leave it for the whole of our stay. Did not have breakfast as visiting family very close by so went there each morning. Very convenient for bus into town"

"The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep."
