"The hotel is tired but do not let that fool you. What it lacks in appearance it makes up for in good service and friendliness.
The room is dated but clean and the linen was spotless.
The food was excellent. The man on reception also served at the bar could not do enough for you.
The hotel is quirky but for the price and a decent nights sleep it was good enough for us"

"A small b&b outside Gretna Green. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Evening meals were not available but this was made very clear before the stay. Room was a good size and spotless. The photograph shown was not taken recently.
