"The shower cubicle had no place for the soap or shower gel, this means you end up with soap and shampoo on the floor of the cubicle - suggest you put two shelves in the corner of the cubicle. The room doors are too heavy to close, this means there is noise from door banging - suggest you make sure doors close easily and put rubber seal on the door to reduce the noise when closing. The Hypnos beds are very good."

"The only issue was at check- in. I was assigned to room 309, but my key card wouldn’t work. The housekeeper took my card to get it reprogrammed at reception. While I was waiting, another young man came to #309 which he was assigned - and his key card worked. I went back to reception and I was reassigned to the correct room. The personnel housekeeping and reception) were very helpful and apologetic. I was grateful the error was resolved without incident. "

"Beautiful building in a quiet location. The staff were very helpful especially the receptionist Natalie who was very understanding over my predicament of maybe needing a room if my Dad was released from hospital late that same day. Good breakfast. Fan in room which I used as it was warm. "

"Paid £74 for a room with no kettle or TV, and wasn't even ensuit, so for me the price was about £24 too much, the bathroom was right next to my room, and the girl in another room was in and out to the bathroom all night, and then decided she was going to have a shower at 6.30am and then dry her hair, the room was comfortable and there was a kitchen and TV downstairs but nowhere to sit and watch TV as. The 1 armchair was covered in laundry and I didn't fancy sitting on a stool at the kitchen counter, need to rethink your prices or get kettles and tv's in the rooms "

Beautiful property in an excellent location

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. Ayla and Mike are great hosts and were so helpful with their knowledge of the area. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. The location is fabulous for visiting so many places close by. We loved it and will definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful holiday Ayla and Mike. See you soon Martin, Debs and Millie moo 😊"

"There was not good communication about the size of the room. This was listed as suitable for 6 people and it certainly was not. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, the adults not in pairs. But we were willing to push through for one night. The other problem was an inadequate amount of linen. We needed more towels and blankets/sheets. I called Samantha to ask about additional linen and her response was not what I expected. She asked if we were cold because the room was adequately warm and we’d be fine with what we had. The pull out couch bed had no sheets and only 1 throw that was not big enough for one adult instead of 2. So my sons had to sleep without blankets and they were in fact cold. I’m still shocked my concerns and needs were dismissed. Providing extra blankets is such a simple thing. The room was clean but it definitely should not be rented to more than a party of 4. "
